1. New York City: Official Mistakenly Threatens Homeschoolers

Just before Christmas, the Home School Legal Defense Association

school system had been accused of violating the law. It turned out
that officials had made a mistake.

2. Wisconsin: School District Pressures Special Needs Homeschooler

3. Texas: School District Demands to See Homeschooler's Curriculum

4. Survey Studies Faith of Homeschoolers

As part of her master's degree program, a Michigan homeschooling
mother is conducting an online survey to determine how successful
homeschooling parents are at passing their faith on to their children.
She was inspired to create the survey after learning how little
research exists on the subject. She is interested in hearing from
homeschooling parents with adult children, and adults who were
homeschooled.

5. Generation Joshua--Civics Courses Move to New Online Home

Starting next week, the 2006 online civics courses will be available
on our website. We have restructured the GenJ courses and moved them
to the GenJ website. Students will no longer be required to register
for courses and there will be no time limits on any of the courses.

Fathers play a special role in their families by providing leadership,
