====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== May 11, 2005 New Hampshire--Calling a Few Servant Leaders Dear HSLDA members and friends: If there is a possibility that God is calling you to serve the New Hampshire homeschool community in a new way, I'd like to make you aware of a need. Christian Home Educators of New Hampshire (CHENH) has served for many years as the primary focal point for families who want to work together to protect homeschool freedom, improve the homeschool laws, and advance the cause of parent-directed education. It has been a public voice for New Hampshire homeschool families and HSLDA strongly supports CHENH's mission. Due to some recent "retirements" from the CHENH board, there is an urgent need for a few servant-oriented homeschool moms & dads to step up and fill in the gap. The CHENH Board is a working board, which means that each board member takes responsibility for specific functions of CHENH. In addition to these Board vacancies, there are several committee and volunteer openings for the convention, website, and to lobby the New Hampshire legislature. If CHENH has blessed you in the past, consider whether it's time for you to be of service to other homeschool families.
