As we reported to you previously some good amendments have been added to Senate Bill 87. However, S.B. 87 still expands the immunization tracking system and jeopardizes your privacy. It passed the senate and has been sent to the governor. There is a possibility the governor may veto this bill as a result of the public outcry. Please contact him this week and voice your opposition. ACTION REQUESTED Call Governor Owens and give him this message: "Please veto Senate Bill 87. It violates our right to privacy. We do not want the government acting as the nanny of our children. Parents should be trusted to act in the best interests of their children."
