The scheduled vote this past Wednesday did not happen. We believe your calls are contributing to the delays by causing the committee to second guess the need to pass this bill. Please keep the pressure on the committee. ACTION REQUESTED Please call your Senator and give him this message: "Please vote against Senate Bill 409, which lowers the compulsory attendance age. This bill is unnecessary. It restricts parental choice and wastes taxpayer money." Do not identify yourself as a homeschooler.
