====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== April 7, 2005 Colorado--Correction: Come Support Freedom at the "Homeschool Day at the Capitol" Dear HSLDA members and friends: Due to a computer glitch, the wrong e-lert was sent out regarding the "Homeschool Day at the Capitol." The following is the correct version: Christian Home Educators of Colorado is sponsoring the 2005 Homeschool Day at the Capitol, on April 8, 2005. Each year CHEC organizes this event to uphold homeschool rights, to showcase home education at the capitol through displays, hold a rally on the east steps, and to provide an educational time for you and your family. We urge all HSLDA members to attend this event. It is so important for legislators to meet homeschoolers and to know we care about our freedoms. Help keep homeschooling free and attend the Homeschool Day at the Capitol. The day also includes FREE Junior Workshops, with interactive activities and engaging skits that all close with an important and memorable message for your children. This is also your opportunity to fulfill the state law requirement of regular courses of instruction in the Constitution of the United States.
