====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== April 1, 2005 Colorado--Come Support Freedom at the "Homeschool Day at the Capitol" Dear HSLDA members and friends: Christian Home Educators of Colorado is sponsoring the 2004 Homeschool Day at the Capitol, on April 8, 2004. Each year Christian Home Educators of Colorado organizes this event to uphold homeschool rights, to showcase home education at the capitol through displays, hold a rally on the east steps, and to provide an educational time for you and your family. We urge all HSLDA members to attend this important event. It is so important for legislators to meet homeschoolers in person and to know we care about our freedoms. Also, don't miss the powerful workshop messages for your teens from Dr. David Noebel and Summit Ministries. The noon rally features a historical message from Chief Justice Roy Moore. Congressman Tom Tancredo and a host of senators and representatives will join homeschoolers at the rally. Help keep homeschooling free and attend the Homeschool Day at the Capitol. The day also includes FREE Junior Workshops at 10:00 am, with interactive activities, engaging skits, with an important and memorable message for your children. Also, Future Statesman kits are available with a new, inspiring tape from David Barton and Wallbuilders. This is your opportunity to fulfill the state law requirement of regular courses of instruction in the Constitution of the United States.
