====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== March 1, 2005 Utah--Update - Homeschool Freedom Bill Passes House of Representatives Dear HSLDA members and friends: Senate Bill 59 continued on its successful path Monday, where it passed the House of Representatives by a unanimous vote - 70 to 0. It had already passed the Senate by a unanimous vote. Utah legislators are in one accord in their belief that Utah homeschoolers deserve more freedom. This bill will now be presented to the governor. We have no indication that he will veto it, but if you would like to show your support for this homeschool bill, you can contact him by using this form on his website: http://governor.utah.gov/goca/form_comment.html Join us in praising God for His mercy.
