Your generosity continues to touch lives. Those who give The Foundation has been blessed to receive donations from many families and some groups. The short notes that come with their gifts reflect the truth that it's more blessed to give than to receive." One group wrote to tell us: "In the early years of our group, HSLDA generously gave us funds which we were able to use to buy a communication system and keep our group going in the black. The Lord has since blessed us with many years of service and with abundant finances. Though we have been able to help some of the needier [families] in our group, pay speakers, and carry out other programs, we have not been able to out-give God. At our committee meeting in June we voted to share our blessings back with you [HSF] as you serve the home school community at large. Thank you!" A family who made a donation writes: "We have been with you a long time! This past spring our daughter graduated... We would like to keep up with what you are doing. Could you put some money toward a family who is struggling financially?" A contributing church tells us: "We appreciate your ministry and ask the Lord to bless it that other families may be able to homeschool their children in Germany." Chuck Hurst HSF Executive Director Workplace Giving This fall the Home School Foundation will again be participating in the Combined Federal Campaign under the umbrella of Christian Service Charities. Funding from the Federal Campaign, which allows federal workers to contribute pre-tax dollars, has been an invaluable resource for the Foundation. Our CFC designation number is 2099. HSF has also been accepted for several state employee charitable campaigns. This is the first year we have been involved with the state campaigns and we are excited about this opportunity. We have been accepted in the following states: California, Florida, Virginia, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin.
