Only by working together can we defend homeschool freedom and keep the cost of membership low. We want to let you know that we will soon be at an event in your area on July 9th-11th, 2004. The 21st Annual Christian Home Educators Convention will be held at the Ontario Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Way, Ontario California. Many speakers and workshops will be offered at the Christian Home Educators Convention, I will be doing workshops on "CPEC: Home Ed Basics 102:Basic Law for Homeschoolers," "Renew the Vision-Renew the Hope," "The Power of Praise with our Children" and "Straight talk to Fathers." Again this year, we are offering a special incentive for new members. First-time members who join HSLDA at the 21st Annual Christian Home Educators Convention will receive a free book. Invite three of your friends to come to the conference and sign up as new members. If they note on their applications that you referred them, you'll receive a free year of membership when their memberships are approved! We are also excited to announce our new "Join for Two" and "Renew for Two" promotions to encourage both new and current members to commit to two years of membership. When you choose to join or renew for two years at a conference, you may take home up to two items from HSLDA's book table with a combined value of up to $20.
