We are currently looking for one position: Network/Security Administrator. HSLDA Job Listings ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Network/Security Administrator (Posted 04/06/04) Experienced Network/Security Administrator needed to fulfill the following job description: Security Troubleshoots network access problems and implements network security policies and procedures. Ensures network security access and protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Network Installs, configures and maintains organization's network. Performs and monitors system backups on network servers. Proposes Designs and supports server systems and supporting software. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Cisco switch and router programming and maintenance experience required. Microsoft 2000 or 2003 Server and Active Directory administration and maintenance experience required. Anti-Virus, T1, Firewall, IDS, and IPS experience preferred. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm. Additional and/or flexible hours will vary to cover two-shift seven-day operation. Requires on-call cell phone 24x7. Position reports to Network Manager. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and work well under pressure. Must be a dedicated Christian and have demonstrated commitment to home schooling.
