====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== April 30, 2004 Final Free Performance of the Patrick Henry College Orchestra Dear HSLDA members and friends, On Friday night, May 7 (8:00pm), the Patrick Henry College Orchestra will present its final performance of the season. This will take place at the Bethany United Methodist Church, 100 West Main Street, Purcellville, Virginia. The concert, which will include works by Bach, Gershwin, and Handel, is free and open to the public. The featured soloist is soprano Karen Wilder, a professional opera singer, the oldest sibling from a family of eleven homeschooled children. She will be presenting a beautiful medley of Gershwin songs with the orchestra. For further information, call 540-338- 1776.
