1. Teacher Tax Deduction Not for Homeschoolers

has made it clear that the deduction does not apply to homeschoolers.

2. Last Step for Homeschool Freedom Bill

Homeschoolers in Virginia have actively lobbied on behalf of HB 675,
which ends the baccalaureate degree requirement.

3. Homeschoolers Win Victory in Nevada

Lyon County recently decided to revamp its policy regarding
homeschooler participation in extracurricular activity.
Unfortunately, the proposed policy did not follow the plain meaning
of existing homeschool equal access law, but essentially barred
homeschoolers from participating in many activities they are eligible
for under existing law.
