Only by working together can we defend homeschool freedom and keep the cost of membership low. We want to let you know that we will soon be at an event in your area on Tuesday, April 6. HSLDA Attorney Scott Somerville and his wife Marcia will be speaking at the monthly Home Educators Meeting at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville. (Directions available at http://www.southeastchristian.org/pub_location.cfm ) Scott will speak on, "Vigilance: the Price of Liberty," covering many of the challenges homeschoolers have faced in Kentucky this year. Marcia will present her new integrated homeschool curriculum, Tapestry of Grace. Again this year, we are offering a special incentive for new members. First-time members who join HSLDA at this event will receive a free book. Invite three of your friends to come to the meeting and sign up as new members.
