====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== March 12, 2004 Wyoming--Out of Time for HB 88 Dear HSLDA members and friends: In a state legislature, even the best work does not guarantee success, as we have now seen with HB 88. Homeschoolers responded in a way that made legislators sit up and take note, and even changed the minds of key legislators, but we simply ran out of time to see this bill passed into law. The bill passed the House and the Senate Judiciary Committee, but was not acted on by the full Senate by the end of the session. Thank you so much for your outpouring of support for parental freedoms. You were able to achieve amazing results, and have shown the legislators that you are willing to act to support freedom. We will keep you updated when the Wyoming legislature re-opens!
