We are currently looking for two positions: Computer Technician and Web Technician. HSLDA Job Listings ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Computer Technician/2nd Shift Supervisor (Posted 2/5/04) Experienced PC technician with supervisory experience needed to fulfill the following job description: Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces desktop hardware and software systems, including using help desk management software. Supports and maintains at the PC level user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Performs server data backup to tape including monitoring and tape rotation. Supervises part-time technicians on shift. Some degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Normal hours are Tuesday through Thursday 2nd shift of 1:30pm to 10:00pm, Friday 1st shift of 9:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday weekend hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm. Requires on- call cell phone 24x7. Position reports to Computer Support Manager. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and work well under pressure. Must be a dedicated Christian and have demonstrated commitment to home schooling. This is an *entry-level*, on- site, full-time position with a 1-year minimum commitment. Qualified candidates must be able to show proficiency with HTML and web design and have a working knowledge of basic programming and database skills in a Windows environment. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the following technologies; Microsoft IIS, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, DHTML, MS SQL Server and MS Access. Working knowledge of ASP.net, XML and Macromedia Flash is a plus. Candidate must be a dedicated Christian. Familiarity with homeschooling is a plus. HSLDA offers excellent benefits.
