====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== December 17, 2003 Dear HSLDA Members and Friends, We want to invite you to attend a Constitutional Law Symposium with Mike Farris at the Serra Mesa Christian Center. Designed for teens who have an interest in law, this week-long session will cover such topics as: The Supremacy of the Constitution, Presidential Power, Congressional Power, Power of the Judiciary, Roe v. Wade & other Moral Questions, Establishment of Religion, Free Exercise of Religion, Property Rights & Other Current Issues, and Freedom of Association. Dr. Farris, founder and chairman of Home School Legal Defense Association and president of Patrick Henry College, has taught a Constitutional Law class online for many years, and has written a textbook for the study of Constitutional Law. In addition, Dr. Farris has had over twenty years of courtroom experience. This class is based on the popular Constitutional Law teen camp taught by Dr. Farris at Patrick Henry College last summer. The symposium will be held from Monday, January 19 through Friday, January 23rd, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The fee is $200 per student.
