====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== December 8, 2003 Dear HSLDA friends and members, As an additional benefit to HSLDA membership we are pleased to announce that Patrick Henry College will be renewing the member discount on Distance Learning tuition. HSLDA members will receive a 5% discount on tuition. If a student took a full course load in 2004 the savings would be $325. Registration for the spring 2004 semester is now available. I encourage you to consider our distance Learning courses. As you know, the mission of Patrick Henry College is to train Christian men and women who will lead our nation and shape our culture with timeless biblical values and fidelity to the spirit of the American founding. This mission is accomplished through a Biblically grounded curriculum, a classical approach to instruction, and a technologically advanced delivery. Points of interest for the spring 2004 Distance Learning semester at PHC: * 17 courses will be available * New courses include: Attic (Classical) Greek I, Music History and Appreciation, and Principles of Biblical Reasoning. * Other courses for the spring include History of the United States, Research & Writing, Theology of the Bible, Western Literature, and Constitutional Law which I am teaching. A complete list of the available courses can be found on our web site. * Tuition rates will be locked in and not increase if a student enrolls in the Campus & Home program before the start of the 2004 summer. Let me repeat that...never see a tuition increase for the life of your degree program! * Our new FACTS tuition payment plan options now allow for you to easily budget the costs of tuition. * Although the official registration deadline is December 5 we will allow students to continue to enroll if there is space available in courses.
