---------------------------------------------------------------------- From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- We have received late word that the Johnston School Committee is poised to adopt a new home school policy tonight with little or no input from homeschoolers. We have not seen the new policy but it could contain many restrictive features. Action Requested Please arrive at the meeting tonight at 6:30 PM and sign up for public comment. When it is your turn, ask the committee to kill the new policy, or at least slow down and get input from the home school community. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM, but if you wish to give public comment, you must sign up before the meeting. The meeting will be at 10 Memorial Avenue in Johnston, in the same building as the Ferri Middle School, (near Atwood Avenue).
