---------------------------------------------------------------------- From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Members and Friends of HSLDA, Our nation is in the midst of an intense and fierce conflict with the forces of evil in Iraq. Our soldiers are sacrificing their very lives in order to bring freedom to the Iraqi people and root out terrorism. Some of these soldiers are your very own homeschooled graduates. Over the last few years, since we succeeded in passing a law in Congress to open up military enlistment to homeschoolers, many homeschoolers have signed up for military service. We would like to create a list of these graduates who are involved in the Iraqi conflict. The purpose is to hold these homeschoolers up before the throne of God to pray that He will protect and strengthen them throughout the conflict. If you have a son or daughter presently involved in this conflict, we invite you to go to our website and fill out the web form so that we might pray for these troops.
