1. Ukrainian Homeschoolers Desperately Need Our Help

Although the laws of Ukraine technically allow for homeschooling with
certain restrictions, the Kaliya region is presently prosecuting six
Christian homeschool families.

2. Homeschooler Must Submit to Special Needs Evaluation

A Missouri hearing officer has ruled that a local school district has
the authority under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
to compel homeschoolers to submit to public school special needs
evaluations even though they have rejected public school services.

3. Michigan Homeschooler Summoned to Court a Second Time

HSLDA was able to get the case dismissed after correcting a
prosecutor's misconception that homeschoolers need to be certified.
Incredibly, the same father received a summons in the mail to appear
before the court on truancy charges.

4. Homeschoolers Win in Boxborough, Massachusetts

According to Boxborough homeschoolers, the school committee was
wonderfully responsive to their concerns.

5. Maine Homeschoolers Denied Access to Private School Sports

On March 18, HSLDA filed a complaint requesting the court to issue a
preliminary injunction against the Maine Principals' Association for
denying homeschoolers participation on private school athletic teams.
