1. Arizona Legislature Tables Tax Credit for Homeschoolers

In light of Arizona's current budget situation, homeschool leaders in
the state have decided that now is not the best time to call for this
tax relief.

2. Homeschoolers and College: A Response

On January 17 the Chronicle of Higher Education published an article
about the issues surrounding homeschoolers attending college, but the
article greatly confused these issues. Since HSLDA was widely cited,

New legislation in Maine would allow homeschoolers to breathe freely
after 20 years of stifling micromanagement.

4. Parent-taught Driver Education Moves Forward in Virginia

On Saturday, February 4, the Virginia House of Delegates passed a
bill that allows parents to teach the behind-the-wheel portion of
driver education. House Bill 2404 now moves on to the Virginia
Senate.
