---------------------------------------------------------------------- From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- October 22, 2002 Dear Pennsylvania Members and Friends: We have just received information that the House Education Committee has postponed the vote on House Bill 2560. While the Committee was originally scheduled to vote on the bill on October 23, 2002, the vote has been delayed until after the November elections. The delay is due to concerns that the Committee would not have had a quorum present at this meeting. Committee Chairman Jess Stairs has decided to reschedule the vote after the elections to ensure that a quorum will be present. As soon as we know when the Committee is rescheduled to vote on H.B. 2560, we will pass the information along to you.
