Only by working together can we defend home school freedom and keep the cost of membership low. We want to let you know that we will be at an event in your area June 20-22. The 18th Annual Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC) Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn-Denver International Airport, 15500 East 40th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. HSLDA Senior Counsel Christopher J. Klicka will be speaking on "The Battle for the Right to Home School," "Understanding Suffering in the Midst of Home Schooling," "How to Instill a Vision in you Children Concerning Their Home School Heritage," "A Challenge to Home Schooling Fathers," "The Home School Teenager: Standing Against the Tide," "Balancing Family and Life Responsibilities," and "What are Your Rights as a Home Schooler?" Again this year, we are offering a special incentive for new members. First-time members who join HSLDA at the 18th Annual CHEC Conference will receive a free book. Invite three of your friends to come to the conference and sign up as new members. If they note on their applications that you referred them, you'll receive a free year of membership!
