---------------------------------------------------------------------- From Patrick Henry College... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ============================================ PHC PRAYER PARTNER EMAIL ============================================ Dear Prayer Partners, This past Saturday, May 25, was a historic day at PHC as our first graduates received their diplomas. What a praise report it is to see those who have persevered the first days of PHC and successfully completed their studies. Please pray for the graduates as they move on to the next part of their lives. Below are some other prayer requests. Thank you for your faithful prayer support. We depend upon the prayers of God's people for all that takes place here at PHC. Development Our financial needs remain great as we fast approach the end of our fiscal year (June 30th). To end the year in the black, we must raise approximately $550,000 to fund the scholarships that were awarded to students this year. Please pray for a generous response to this need, which was recently shared in a letter from President Mike Farris to thousands of families across the country. Meanwhile, we are still looking for investors in our new dormitory. Construction is under way, but more capital funds are needed to complete the project on schedule. Please pray for the PHC Freedom Expansion, LLC, which is the name of the investment vehicle that was established to fund the dorm and other capital projects. Library Our library currently has only one full-time staff person. During the course of the summer, the library will be seeking to fill two full- time positions. Please pray that the Lord would direct the right people to us, who will be able to provide service to the students and faculty, and who will also provide vision and direction for the library. Accreditation Please continue to pray for our accreditation situation. Pray that we will act in a way that honors God, that we will continue to remain true to our faith, that we would have wisdom and discernment, and that there would be no misunderstandings in the process. Summer Camps We are expecting several hundred high-schoolers during the course of the summer to be attending our Summer Camps. Please pray for all the administrative and logistical things that must be done to prepare. Pray also that the camps will be rewarding for the students, both educationally and spiritually. Thank you again for your prayers. Furthermore, if we can pray for you, please send us your prayer requests, and we will pray for them during our prayer times.
