school evaluator who then gave a favorable evaluation, one state
senator decided it is time to tighten the home school law.

3. Fraud in California Causes Testing Problems for Home Schoolers

Due to the unscrupulous actions of one family, the publisher of the
Stanford Achievement Test is refusing to allow the Bob Jones
University testing service to sell the tests to home schoolers
without proof that the family is actually home schooling.

4. Congressmen Introduce National Standardized Driver's License Bill

Legislation would require all motor vehicle administrations to
implement uniform standards of for easier information sharing between
these state. In other words, a national ID card.

5. Court Rules West Virginia Home Schoolers Choose Their Own Teacher
Evaluators

Judge David Nibert of West Virginia's Circuit Court of Calhoun County
has ruled that superintendents must accept the parent's choice of
which certified teacher to use.
