1. Breakthrough for Young College-Bound Home School Graduates

In light of a recent letter from the U.S. Department of Education,
there is no longer any legitimate reason for colleges to deny
admission to home schooled graduates of any age.

3. Nevada May Remove School of Tomorrow Curriculum From State
Approved List

Science Education Consultant Dr. Richard Vineyard recommended that
the State Board of Education remove the School of Tomorrow science
curriculum for the state's list of approved correspondence programs.

4. Florida Revives Government Nanny Bill

In a backdoor move, the Government Nanny bill was attached to S.B.
1844 at the eleventh hour and passed by both the Florida senate and
the house.

5. Legislative Victory in Ohio

Ohio House Bill 402 passed the senate without language giving school
superintendents approval authority over home schools.
