From the HSLDA E-lert Service...

April 29, 2002

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,

Home School Legal Defense Association thanks you for your loyalty and
partnership with us. Only by working together can we defend home
school freedom and keep the cost of membership low.

We want to let you know that we will be at an event in your area on
May 10 and 11. The Wisconsin Christian Home Educators Association
(CHEA) Annual Spring Conference will be held at the Elmbrook Church,
777 South Barker Road, Brookfield, Wisconsin. HSLDA Chairman and
General Counsel Michael P. Farris will be speaking on "The Spiritual
Power Of A Mother," "Homeschooling Fathers," "Teaching Your Child The
Constitution," "Restoring American Values," and "How To Protect Your
Family From CPS."

Again this year, we are offering a special incentive for new members.
First-time members who join HSLDA at the Wisconsin CHEA Annual Spring
Conference will receive a free book. Invite three of your friends to
come to the conference and sign up as new members. If they note on
their applications that you referred them, you'll receive a free year
of membership! In addition, existing members who renew for two years
at the conference receive a free book.

For more information about the Wisconsin CHEA Annual Spring
Conference, please contact CHEA at 262-637-5127, email
jang8@prodigy.net, or visit http://www.wisconsinchea.com.

We look forward to seeing you and your friends! Please come by our
table and say "Hi!"

Sincerely,

J. Michael Smith
President
