---------------------------------------------------------------------- From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- March 11, 2002 Dear Utah members and friends, Home School Legal Defense Association wants to thank you for your loyalty and partnership with us. Only by working together can we defend home school freedom across the nation and keep the cost of membership low. We want to let you know that we will soon be at an event in your area on March 22 and 23. The 10th Annual Utah Christian Homeschool Convention will be held at Calvary Chapel, 460 West Century Drive, Salt Lake City, UT. I will be speaking on "Remembering the Reason: Renewing the Vision," "The Battle for Home Schoolers to be Free," "Handling Anger," and "The Father's Role in Home Education." My wife Elizabeth will offer workshops on "Balancing Home, Marriage, and Home Schooling" and "Ten Reasons to Home School Teens." Again this year, we are offering a special incentive for new members. First-time members who join HSLDA at the convention will receive a free book. Invite three of your friends to come to the conference and sign up as new members. If they note on their applications that you referred them, you'll receive a free year of membership! In addition, existing members can renew for two years at the conference and receive a free book.
