---------------------------------------------------------------------- From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- March 1, 2002 Dear Vermont HSLDA Members and Friends, As mentioned in our last message, today is the deadline for bills to pass out of Vermont House Education Committee and be assured of action in the Vermont Senate. The committee members have not yet voted on H. 703. In spite of this, we have reason to believe lawmakers will see that the bill gets action in the Senate. ACTION REQUESTED Lawmakers will be on vacation next week and many will be back in their home districts. If possible, please meet with your representative in person this week to discuss H. 703, even if he or she is not on the committee. For your representative's local address and phone number, go to http://www.hslda.org/toolbox.
