Former HSLDA Attorney Defends Traditional Marriage

Dear friends,

The organization where I work, the Alliance Defense Fund, has been fighting some of the marriage cases around the nation. I ask you to pray for me as I prepare for oral arguments before the California Supreme Court on May 25. I will be arguing that San Francisco violated state law by issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples and that themarriage licenses the City issued are legally invalid.

The oral arguments will be broadcast on cable TV. I want to make an effective, cogent argument to the seven justices, who did grant ADF's request to halt the chaos in San Francisco temporarily until it hears oral arguments and rules on the merits of the case. This is an exciting opportunity, and I want to honor the Lord and do a good job for all Americans who support traditional marriage.
