Announcing HSLDA's John & Abigail Adams Fellowship

In recent years, organizations and individuals have produced reams of "scholarly" research fighting against the God-given rights of parents. Here is your opportunity to fight back. As John Adams said, "Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people, who have a right . . . and a desire to know . . ."

Toward this end, Home School Legal Defense Association is pleased to announce that its National Center for Home Education has established the "John & Abigail Adams Fellowships in Parental Rights and Educational Freedom." These nonresident fellowships are to encourage scholarly research on the rights of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children. HSLDA is excited about this opportunity to further liberty in this way, and to cultivate relationships with promising researchers. The program is open to college seniors (as of 10/1/02) and graduate students. If you know of a student who would make a good candidate, please forward this e-mail to them.

Check out the John & Abigail Adams Fellowship (http://www.adamsfellowship.org) website for more information. Applications and information may be downloaded from the website or obtained by request. Send your questions by e-mail to adamsfellowship@hslda.org.

We appreciate your interest and hope you will help spread the word about this new program. Applications must be received by April 15, 2002.
