Pre-Birth to Three:
Positive Outcomes for Scotland's Children and Families
The Scottish government’s excessive intervention into the family is gravely concerning and HSLDA has recently asked members to contact the Scottish government asking politicians not to pass legislation that would assign a social worker at birth, among other things, for every child.
However, proving that even a broken clock can be right at least twice a day, there are concepts and paragraphs in this government document that support the idea that babys’ brains are highly sensitive even in the womb and are responsive even to the emotions of their expectant mothers.
HSLDA’s reference to this document is not intended to support the underlying government philosophy that the state should be more involved in parenting. Rather, the document itself reveals the mindset of statists who see parents as people to be trained and supervised.
