Continue to Pray for Alberta Homeschoolers!

Thanks to all of who called the Alberta government on Friday to ask them to amend the law that would require homeschoolers to teach politically correct views such as “tolerance” for controversial lifestyles. According to Paul Faris, President of HSLDA of Canada, your calls were definitely heard.

According to proponents of the bill, families would have to teach a state-approved orthodoxy contrary to their religion during schooltime, and then sort it out during “family time.” This bill shows a lack of respect for people of faith and a completely state-oriented philosophy of the nature of education. (Read more about the bill here).

But much prayer is still needed!

It is unclear what direction this bill will now take. We will keep you posted as we learn new developments.
