Chris Klicka Memoir Moves Closer to Production

Shepherd Press is on schedule for a March release of Chris Klicka’s memoir, Power Perfected in Weakness. The book will be available just in time for the homeschool convention season.

In the foreword to Power Perfected in Weakness, Joni Eareckson Tada says, “Looking back, it’s clear that God gave Chris the hope he longed for—his hope is now fully realized in heaven.” Chris was used mightily by God in the lives of countless families, and his account of his final days is valuable to us because of his life of service and ministry. But even more significantly, Power Perfected in Weakness gives the reader a unique and moving glimpse of the rock-solid comfort of God’s mercy, provision, and empowering grace in the face of tremendous suffering.

Final touches are being put on the manuscript. In addition to Chris’s 19 chapters, there are contributions from his wife, two of his daughters, and several others who were with Chris in his final days and had the opportunity to hear his final thoughts and see the faith of a man who trusted God right to the end.
