Join the 2008 Voter Registration Initiative
Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,
With the 2008 election just around the corner, it is time to consider what we can do to change the direction of this nation. There are many close elections on both the state and national level. Among the important issues are the nomination of federal judges, abortion, and parental rights. It is imperative that we lay the groundwork to promote pro-family and pro-homeschooling candidates in the months leading up to the November 4th election day. HSLDA has a plan.
Generation Joshua and HSLDA are proud to announce an exciting opportunity for anyone who is interested in affecting the outcome of the 2008 election. Along with our voter registration drive in all 50 states, we will be sponsoring a special voter registration initiative in Colorado, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Mexico, New Hampshire, and Virginia. We believe these states will have many competitive races. Volunteers between the ages of 11 and 19 who work in these states will register their voter registration drive with Generation Joshua and will then be able to earn special prizes for their efforts. Prizes include laptops and iPods, gift cards, and t-shirts.
We encourage you to start your drive at your local church and homeschool group, as well as any other organizations you are involved with.
This initiative will enable our young people to have their voices heard through the ballot box via registering new voters. Please join us in this crucial effort.
Register online today or call 540-338-8608 for more information.
