OCONTO FALLS STUDENT WINS NATIONAL ART CONTEST
Purcellville, VA – Today, Home School Legal Defense Association announces that Ariel Hamel of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin has won the Second Annual HSLDA Art Contest.
Ariel won first place from 216 entries in Category II, which is for homeschooled students aged 11-14.
Ariel Hamel was inspired by the wildlife of the Wisconsin and submitted a picture of a duck native to Wisconsin, the black scoter. Ariel missed last year's competition but succeeded this year.
