Married for 23 years, she and her husband, Davis, have been blessed with seven children ranging in age from 6 to 19. Rachael has served on the board of North Carolinians for Home Education since 2002. In 2003, she started Real Refreshment Retreats for homeschool moms. In 2005, Focus on the Family published Rachael’s book, Soundbites from Heaven—What God Wants Us to Hear When We Talk To Our Kids. Rachael has enjoyed speaking and encouraging homeschool groups for over 10 years. She is quick to admit her many imperfections and to share stories that highlight her shortcomings and the redemptive hand of Jesus Christ. It is her heart’s desire to become all God has planned for her to be for His glory. |
