This week on the program, we have a special line-up of guests to help us celebrate Mother’s Day! We're going to be talking to moms at all stages of life this week. Today, our guest is Kirsten Dalton. Kirsten, welcome to the program!

Kirsten, as a young mom with a second baby on the way, what aspects of mothering have surprised you the most?
Kirsten:
Well, coming from being the oldest of 12 children to being a parent myself, I honestly didn’t think I had a whole lot to be surprised at. But I’ve been amazed at the amount of spiritual growth that’s come with having children. Loving and disciplining our daughter has given me such a deeper understanding of God’s unconditional love for me. And I’ve realized how much I need humility and God’s wisdom and strength to help me raise our children to follow Christ. And I’ve gained such a greater appreciation for my own parents and their godly example. God has truly blessed our family, and I hope that as a mother I’m bringing him the same joy and pleasure that our little ones bring to us!

Kirsten, are you on your way to 12?
Kirsten:
Oh, I hope so! We’ll take as many as God gives us.
