Please note: Today’s program is a rerun that first aired on July 18, 2006. Wondering how homeschooling can help your child to grow as a Christian? Today on Home School Heartbeat, Mike Smith hears about one homeschool graduate’s experience. Mike Smith: Leah Garber: Both of my parents have set wonderful examples in many areas, from diligence to joyful giving to a living faith in God’s love and sovereignty, and I know it’s easier to follow their good examples because they lived with us day-in, day-out. They would be the first to say that they weren’t perfect, but they not only learned from their mistakes, they took the opportunity to teach us from them as they went along. I know that ultimately my parents would credit their success to God’s grace and to the daily prayers that they have offered and continue to offer for each of us. I am so thankful for their love and care. Mike: |
