Sometimes, the trickiest part of having good intentions is sticking to them. How can you, as a homeschool parent, be intentional about your ministry to your children? Today on Home School Heartbeat with HSLDA President Mike Smith, author Andrea Soldini shares some practical advice. Mike Smith: Andrea Soldini: Mike: Andrea: Mike: Andrea: Once a mission statement is crafted, develop goals for all areas of your family life, including spiritual, educational, financial, physical, and ministry. Use your mission statement as a filter to see if the goals line up with it. If they don’t, then put them on hold. When they do, you can move forward in confidence. Lastly, create a schedule to see if you can realistically fit your goals into your life. Sometimes there are a few more that will have to wait, while others take precedence. Mike: |
