Does a hands-on marine biology study require you to make field trips to the beach? Today on Home School Heartbeat with host Mike Farris, marine biologist Sherri Seligson offers tips for bringing marine biology into your homeschool—even if you’re miles from the ocean. Mike Farris: Sherri Seligson: Also, there are excellent curricula which do have a hands-on marine science lab that showcase many marine concepts. And finally, keeping a home aquarium is an ideal way to learn about the needs of marine creatures—both fish and invertebrates.
