What happens when school officials rewrite children’s literature? The king lives happily after with
another king. Hear more on the materials infecting our nation’s schools from parental notification activist, Dr. David Parker. This is Home School Heartbeat, with Mike Farris.

David, can you tell us a little more about the kind of materials that the school was using to inculcate four- and five-year-old children on the issue of homosexuality?
Dr. David Parker:
Well, they have, actually, a variety of techniques that they use. One is to have books such as Who’s in a Family, books like King and King, Molly’s Family—books that basically show homosexual parents or homosexual people together, and then also teacher-initiated conversations.
There are also presentations that they do where they take the children out of school and march them in front of repeated images of homosexual parents with children. That imprints on the mind of little kids that two men being together is just basically like your mom and dad being together.
The teachers are using not only peer pressure; they’re using the impressionability and innocence of the children, but also a teacher is a very powerful adult authority in a young child’s life, and they’re leveraging all that to imprint their beliefs upon your children.
Mike:
Thanks so much. I’m Mike Farris.
