Jayme is the founder and president of Romania Reborn, a non-profit organization begun in 1998 that works among abandoned babies in Romania. The second daughter of Mike and Vickie Farris, Jayme was homeschooled from kindergarten through high school and graduated in 1995. During a year spent in Romania doing mission work in 1997, she served at a local orphanage, returning to the United States with a burden for Romania’s abandoned children.
Jayme and her mother, Vickie Farris, co-authored the book A Mom Just Like You in 2000. Jayme lives in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, with her husband Todd and four daughters Corina, Abigail, Susanna, and Catherine.
Christian Feavel is the executive director of Romania Reborn, a non-profit organization that supports ministries among the poor, needy, and abandoned children of Romania. The oldest of five children, Christian was very thankful when her family decided to homeschool her during her senior year of high school. After graduating in 1994, Christian had the opportunity to help her mother homeschool her younger siblings as she prayed about her future. With a heart for missions and children, she was led to minister in Christian camps, inner-city ministries, and overseas missions.
In 2006, the Lord opened the door for Christian to spend one year ministering at Hope House, the Romanian orphanage supported by Romania Reborn. Returning from Romania with a deep love for Romania’s children, she feels truly blessed to be able to work with a ministry that shares that love.
