To understand the prevailing philosophy in academia today, look no further than your local secular college campus. According to the professors at many of these institutions, America was and is the number-one terrorist state in the world. Any show of patriotism is the ultimate faux pas on some campuses. In fact, after September 11th, several campuses actually banned the flying of the American flag because it was insensitive to foreign students.


Homosexuality and other perverse forms of sexual behavior are not just considered acceptable; they are pronounced good and celebrated. No elite academic campus is without several prominent openly homosexual professors.


Diversity is the god of modern education, but it's a diversity that accepts only those lifestyles and philosophies that disdain conservatives in general and conservative Christianity in particular. Without shame, conservatives on American campuses are pronounced intellectually inferior, ill-qualified, and irreversibly backward bigots.


Christians should be leaders in today's society and culture. But if we try to achieve leadership by way of an elite secular education, we're jeopardizing our Christian worldview and commitment to biblical principles—the very foundation of Christian leadership. Christians must not compromise principle in order to follow society's path. I'm Mike Farris.
