Does your high schooler think that studying government is boring? Then tune in as Michael Farris talks with Ned Ryun about a new approach on this edition of Home School Heartbeat. Mike Farris: Ned Ryun: And one of the ways we're going about doing that is I'm posting writings and biographies of the Founding Fathers on the Generation Joshua site, having the young students read those writings, and then we get to discuss them online during chat sessions. And I think the thing that's encouraging to me is that these young people get to experience the writings of the Reverend John Witherspoon and Benjamin Rush and Noah Webster and John Dickinson, all very strong Christians in their own rights. It's exciting for me to see these young students get to experience the principles that these Founding Fathers displayed in their lives and writings and then be able to apply them to themselves today.
