A few months ago, partial birth abortion became illegal with a stroke of the president's pen. Join Michael Farris as he talks with us about witnessing this historic bill signing today on Home School Heartbeat.

On November 5th of last year I had the great privilege of spending 30 minutes in the Oval Office with the president of the United States along with Jim Dobson, Chuck Colson, Tony Perkins, and Don Hodel.
The purpose of the meeting was to celebrate the signing of the bill-that was going to happen shortly after our meeting-that banned partial birth abortion. It was a bill that we had worked on for years throughout the Clinton years where President Clinton had repeatedly vetoed this very same measure.
When we thanked the president for signing this bill, he said, "It's a no-brainer. It is simply the right thing to do." It immediately struck me how great it is to have a president who makes a decision based on what the right thing to do is, rather than a president that simply decides based on opinion polls. This president does what's right and it was a great blessing to be there as he signed this bill into law. I'm Mike Farris.
