Alexander Hamilton predicted that the federal courts would be the least dangerous branch of the federal government. Michael Farris discusses the danger Hamilton was thinking of today on Home School Heartbeat. Mike Farris: It's very important to understand that his prediction was written before the Bill of Rights was drafted and ratified. The original plan of the Constitution depended on the principle of limited government as the chief protection of our liberties. If government didn't have too much power, then our lives, our liberty, and our property would be safe from too much federal intrusion and regulation. Unfortunately, Hamilton's prediction was wrong. The deadly threat to the lives of unborn babies has come from the Supreme Court. The threat to religious expression and religious freedom has come from the Supreme Court. The march of the coerced acceptance of homosexuality as an equally valid lifestyle is coming from the Supreme Court. These and other radical changes have come to us not because there has been a fair election where these policies have been selected by a majority of the people; rather, unelected judges have imposed their personal view of what America should do upon the rest of us. This week on Home School Heartbeat, we're going to talk about judicial tyranny and how homeschool students can play a key role in finding a solution. I'm Mike Farris.
