This week's guests: This week, Mike Farris talks with Anders Kaseorg, a 16-year-old homeschool student, and with his mother Vicky. Anders was a silver medallist at the 2002 International Math Olympiad in Glasgow, Scotland. Vicky Kaseorg, now a homeschooling mother of three, majored in art in college and worked as an occupational therapist. Anders' gift for mathematics and the limitations of a traditional classroom led her to try homeschooling. She describes the ways they found to keep him challenged. |
