We all know about the Proverbs 31 woman. But what about the Proverbs 31 man? As we approach Mother’s Day this weekend, several HSLDA staff members join that husband of Proverbs to praise their excellent wives—today on Home School Heartbeat.
Mike Smith:
Hi, I’m Mike Smith, and it’s an honor and a privilege for me to be able to participate in the Proverbs 31 week. But I have to tell you, I have a Proverbs 32 wife. She truly is the best mother. What she did when she decided to homeschool was basically put on hold all of her interests, and she did it for the sake of her children. And now that her children are grown, she has picked up those interests again. I am so proud of her for what she’s done in terms of helping homeschool families be able to homeschool their kids through very difficult times. I am so proud of you, and I love you very much.
Jason Heki:
I’m Jason Heki with ParentalRights.org. Happy Mothers’ Day to my lovely wife Aubrey, as we expect our first child this September. You are a wonderful gift to me. You have wise words, fitly spoken, and seasoned with grace. You are diligent, and God blesses the work of your hands. I praise God that our child will have you for a mother, and I’m deeply thankful to have you by my side.
Adam Rohner:
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers that are listening. My name is Adam Rohner, and I’m the program director for Patrick Henry College’s Preparatory Academy. I want to send a warm well wishes to my wife, Sharon Rohner, the mother of my three children Sammy Sue, Max, and Chloe Faith. I love her very much, and she is my best friend.
