For information on your state’s homeschool Laws click here >> Mike Smith: Zan Tyler: And I can’t tell you how many times this verse comforted for me, because when we started homeschooling in the early eighties, there was no help, and I really felt like I spent a lot of my life going and I knew not where. And so Abraham’s faith really encouraged me. And the second verse that really encouraged me was a companion verse in Hebrews 11: “By faith, Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household.” And you know, that’s what we’re doing, plank by plank, we’re preparing an ark for the salvation of our household as well.
